How Do Custom Vehicle Graphics Work?

You may be interested in custom vehicle graphics on your car, but you may also be wondering: what is the process of designing, creating and applying the graphics onto my vehicle?

Well, we can break this down into 6 steps.

Step One: Have an idea of what you’d like to be on your vehicle.

You can have whatever design you’d like on your vehicle. Whether it’s a pattern, business logo etc, browse the internet for inspiration and examples of your idea. Or be creative and develop your own ideas as notes, doodles or maybe even an exact design which you’d love to have.

Step Two: Talk to our designers about your idea.

Contact us or come and visit to talk to our designers about your design ideas. They’ll help give you advice and then you can leave the rest of the design work to them. During the design process, they’ll get a template of your vehicle and create your design on it. This will help to give you a good idea on what the designs would look like and where they will sit on your vehicle.

Step Three: Check our design and choose if it’s right for you.

Once the design is done, we will send it to you so that you can make sure it’s what you want. If not, then you can give us your opinion on what parts to improve or make different. Then when we’ve improved the design to your taste, we’re ready to start the creating stage.

Step Four: Choose your colour vinyl.

If you haven’t already had a preference for colour, you can have a look at the range of matt and gloss coloured vinyl which you can choose from. You can have a single colour or multiple, whatever you think would look best. Don’t hesitate to ask us for an opinion.

Step Five: Application.

Your design will be scaled to the size of your vehicle and then sent to be printed and cut in vinyl. From there the vinyl will be applicated onto your vehicle, this can take time if there is more to applicate or the vehicle is bigger.

Step Six: Take away your vehicle with its new look.

Once the application is done, you can drive away your newly designed vehicle and show it off. And if you decide you don’t like it, the vinyl is easily removed so that you can create a new design for it whenever you want.
